The requirements to change the data or Primary User for a .EDU.MX domain are:
- Have a user in Akky. If you do not have a user yet, you can register one by clicking here.
- Gather and attach the following documentation to the email:
- Letter on digital letterhead dated recently, text only in spanish (download the example of the letter found here)
- Current official identification (both sides and in color) of the current Director or Legal Representative, as long as it appears in the officially valid document that is attached.
- Documents to identify the school (You can present one of the following documents):

- Registration in the National Education System; you must present your registration or proof of the Work Center Code (CCT)
- Registration with the Secretary of Education or a copy of the publication of the Official Journal of the Federation that grants it official validity (Creation Decree); or, if applicable, a copy of the registration with CONACYT.
- In the case of a labor training center or a technical education institution, you must present the proof issued by the Competent Authority so that the courses or education provided are valid at a national level.
NOTE: If the copy of the CCT and/or RVOE, or the certificate issued by the Corresponding Authority does not mention the current director or legal representative, as well as the position they hold within the educational institution or training center, it is necessary to present a copy of the appointment of said person.
- You must then send an email to the account: autenticacion@akky.mx
- Subject: Modification of .EDU.MX domain
- Message body: Domain name + documentation
IMPORTANT:
- If the documents are not legible, are not sent in an orderly manner or are incomplete, your application will be rejected.
- Attached files must not exceed seven (15) Megabytes, as they cannot be received. It is recommended to use only the We Transfer platform (attach link in the email).
